OpenAI held a spring announcement event on Monday, May 13th, 2024. Here is a visual recap of some of the new features and updates.
OpenAI stated that their mission “is to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity.”
The main focus of the event was the introduction of GPT-4o. The “o” stands for “omni.” GPT-4o is the next step towards a more natural human-computer interaction.
GPT-4o will be available to everyone, including free users. Paid users will have more capacity than free users. The features will be rolled out over the coming weeks.
